Months ago, the hotel told Randi that there was an unusually large number of group reservations this fall, and the hotel was completely booked. If it turns out that any of the groups have rooms they will not need, those rooms will be released on September 14 (the hotel previously said September 9). To inquire about availability, please call the Carleton Hotel at (708) 848-5000 on the morning of September 14 and ask for Katie.
The Carleton is in downtown Oak Park, within walking distance of all Harvest Moon events as well as many shops and restaurants. There is free parking for all guests. No breakfast is provided, but there is a restaurant in the building.
Chicago Hillside Hotel: Best Western Plus

The Chicago Hillside Best Western is just off of I-290, about twenty minutes’ drive from the Harvest Moon venue in light traffic. In busy hours, it may be faster to take Washington Boulevard than the expressway.
There is free parking and a breakfast buffet, and the lounge serves food until 2:00 a.m. Free shuttle service is provided to and from the airport, as well as some other local destinations.
