Fermilab ECD

Dancing at Fermilab is called by Mady Newfield and Tammy Bretscher (with Tom Senior occasionally joining them) and meets on one Sunday afternoon each month from 1 to 5 p.m. Dances are also occasionally held on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 10 p.m. There is sometimes live music by Old Fezziwig’s Band.

On Sundays, the first hour is reserved for experienced dancers only, so that we can program more challenging dances. Newcomers are always welcome starting at 2 p.m., or may come early to watch.

The dancing takes place at:

Kuhn Village Barn
Fermi National Acceleratory Laboratory site
Between Warrenville and Batavia, IL
2 to 5 p.m. for all, 1 to 2 p.m. for experienced dancers
