Our sixth Harvest Moon Dance Weekend took place on October 7 – 9, 2022, at the beautiful Baker Community Center in St Charles, Illinois. Chicagoland’s premiere English Country Dance event, a full weekend of engaging music and dance, it had been postponed for two years because of the pandemic. The joy of dancing together with regional friends was immense!

Weekend schedule:

• • Friday evening dance: 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday morning workshop: 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
    Likely topic: a historical overview of ECD figures 
  • Saturday afternoon workshop: 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
    Likely topic: style in ECD
  • Saturday afternoon ball practice: 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday evening ball: 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
  • Sunday farewell dance: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Brunch options still to be determined.)
