We invite you to an special evening of…
Dancing Through Time!
A quadrille set (no thanks to inclement weather!) enjoyed noted dance historian Susan de Guardiola’s breadth of knowledge of different ages of American, English, and European dance as we traveled through time and space!
There was be a variety of figures, formations, and music from the Renaissance to the 21st century (mostly late 18th and early 19th century). Material was accessible to those who have any background in English country dancing, contra, squares, or related forms.
Music was drawn from Susan’s fine collection of recordings.
