There are currently two ongoing venues for English country dancing in the Chicago area:

Chicagoland North ECD (formerly Evanston ECD) meet in north suburban locations one evening a month. Calling is by Cheryl Yenter, and other members of that community, and occasional guests.

Chicagoland West ECD (formerly Fermilab ECD and Oak Park ECD) are now meeting in Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn, generally the first and third Sundays of each month. The afternoon combines international folk dancing in the first half  (led by Mady, with English country dancing in the second half. Calling is by Mady Newfield and Tammy Bretscher and occasional other guests.
